Hi readers! As previously stated in the introductory post to this series we have now come to the final interaction with this metaphor for this week, which is the quiz and the author’s insights.

The quiz is written in such a way as to possibly provoke you in three different ways: 1) to get you to read the Bible if you don’t know the references, 2) to affirm your Bible knowledge if you do know the references, and/or 3) to get you reading closely.

Quiz

  1. In the story, Deven has a hard time getting in the shower, even after encouragement and threats. Which scriptures from the Bible, below, best exemplify a similar scenario?

    1. Acts 10:9-38

    2. 1 Samuel 15

    3. James 4:7-10

  2. Which of the following verses shows us that God’s grace is like water and soap that cleanses us?

    1. Ephesians 5:25-27

    2. Titus 2:11-12

    3. Revelation 1:4-5
