The descriptions of beautiful things in the poem, to me, could symbolize God - Christ - and his love. Sometimes he catches our eye when we see signs of him in life, or revelations of him as we read the Bible. And, those things we see about him make us want to stay there a while, but soon the responsibilities of life come back into our view and we know we have to get back to them. But, we can be grateful that we did get those moments, and they hold us and keep us going.
I like the structure of the poem, too. The one-word lines could represent “glimpses”.

I love the line, “ Are you ever struck by beauty
So deeply it plays a chord in your soul?” I can feel that “strum” sometimes when I glimpse glory in the middle of the mundane.
